Did you know that according to cognitive neuroscientists, 95% of our day is run by our subconscious mind? In other words, habitual behaviors. Habitual behaviors are behaviors we engage in without having to think first, no different than running on Autopilot. So basically, you already run on Autopilot 95% of the day. Only around 5% of the day is run by our conscious minds, in other words, conscious decisions.


Have you ever wondered how people in healthy regions can maintain their excellent health effortlessly? In contrast, most people who lose weight and get in shape with the popular methods, have difficulty maintaining their newfound weight loss.


You see, people in healthy regions have such an easy time maintaining their excellent health because all the healthy behaviors that keep them in shape are habitual. In other words, no thought is required to engage in those behaviors. It is like their fitness program is on Autopilot. That frees up their conscious mind to focus on the more important stuff in life.


Now, look at the healthy behaviors most weight loss and diet programs ask people to engage in to lose weight and improve their health. Most of those healthy behaviors can't become habitual, so they will always need to use their conscious mind to engage in those behaviors. That could quickly lead to burnout, especially if you have a hectic life.


So, if you want to put the process of losing weight and getting in shape on Autopilot, you must make sure all the healthy behaviors through which you lose weight and improve your health become habitual and part of that 95% of your day that your subconscious mind is running. This way, you don’t have to think about your diet or exercise constantly. Healthy eating and exercising are taken care of automatically by your subconscious mind, so your conscious mind is free to focus on more important things in life.


How You Can Put The Process of Losing Weight on Autopilot

If you want to put the process of losing weight on Autopilot so you can finally get lean and healthy for life, there are two things you must do.


First, make sure all the healthy behaviors you engage in to lose weight and get in shape have the potential of becoming habitual. You see, not all healthy behaviors can become habitual. For example, you can lose weight by counting calories, but the problem is that counting calories can never become a habitual behavior, no matter how long you do it.


That is part of the reason why the vast majority of people who lose weight by counting calories end up regaining the weight back.


The approach you take is the second thing that affects whether a behavior becomes habitual. You see, for a new behavior to become habitual, you must take a particular approach. If you approach it the wrong way, even if a behavior has the potential of becoming habitual, it will never happen. If you look at how most fitness program approach weight loss, you will notice that it goes again human nature, which makes it very hard to create habitual behaviors.

Who Am I

My name is Stavros Mastrogiannis, and I am a 30-year veteran of the fitness field with a very different view of how we should approach weight loss and health. From the beginning, it became apparent to me that there was something seriously wrong with how the industry approached weight loss because most people ended up regaining the weight back.


In significant part, what enabled me to come up with the answer to sustainable weight loss was my upbringing. Unlike most other weight loss experts, my position on weight loss, health, and nutrition was not shaped by simply studying in a classroom or the certification process. I was born and raised on a Greek island where thin and healthy were the norm, and people in their 90s lived full, productive lives. That unique life experience gave me an insight into weight loss, nutrition, and health that few fitness experts have.


Through my coaching program, I help people achieve a lean and healthy body that they can maintain with minimum effort, and I help them achieve that by teaching them how to put their fitness program on Autopilot.


My coaching program follows the example of healthy regions and how people who live there are able to maintain their excellent health effortlessly.

How My Coaching Works.

My coaching program is 6 months long and focuses on helping people achieve a lean and healthy body that they can maintain with minimum effort. I work with people for a minimum of 6 months because it takes 6 months to truly ingrain new behaviors into someone's life and for those behaviors to become habitual, which is the only way to achieve sustainable results. Each month we will have 3, 30-minute coaching sessions. In addition to the coaching sessions, you will also have an app that will provide additional support between sessions.

What We Will Accomplish During the Coaching Sessions

In the first few sessions, we will focus on getting clarity on what you want, figuring out what changes you need to make, and creating an action plan of how we will make all those changes.


Getting Clear on Our Goals

First, I will help you gain clarity on the shape you want to get in, not what you would settle for. In other words, if you really want to lose 100 lbs, but you would be happy if you lost 50 lbs, I would like to know about the 100 lbs. Having clarity of what you want is the first step to achieving it.


Get Clear on the Changes You Need To Make

Once we have clarity of the shape you want to get into, we will first identify the unhealthy habits that prevent you from achieving the lean and healthy body you want and rank those habits from bad to worse. We will also determine what healthy behaviors are missing from your life, which can help you make your fitness goal a reality and rank them from good to best. Because I want to ensure that you can easily maintain the results you will achieve through my coaching program, we will only work with healthy behaviors that can become habitual. If you are looking for sustainable results, it is critical that the healthy behaviors through which you achieve the results, those behaviors can become habitual.


I rank all behaviors to know which to work on first, which will impact your weight and health the most and help you see results the fastest.


Get Clear On How We Will Make All The Changes

Once we are clear of all the changes you need to make to your life to achieve the ultimate results you want, we will create a step-by-step action plan of how to make all the changes in your daily habitual behaviors without burning you out. In other words, how we will eliminate all your unhealthy behaviors and help you develop all the new healthy behaviors and make them utterly habitual with minimum disruptions to your life. This action plan we will create together will take into account your likes and dislikes, your lifestyle, and, most importantly, human nature. If you do something that goes against human nature, 9 out of 10 times, you will lose. That is why it is critical that we work with human nature and not go against it.


Implementation

Once we have clarity of the results you want to achieve, we know what changes you need to make in your life to achieve the results you want, and once we have a clear plan of action, the goal in the rest of the coaching sessions is to help you implement that plan.

Minimum Disruption to Your Life

Although taking care of your health should be the number one priority, we all live busy lives and have many other responsibilities that need our attention. It would be nice if we only needed to focus on our weight and health, but that is not the reality. I am very aware of that, which is why I follow the kaizen philosophy when helping people make changes in their daily habitual behaviors. Kaizen is an ancient Asian philosophical system on how to apply change best if you want the changes you make to last.

Kaizen focuses on making small changes at first, leading to big changes and, most importantly, sustainable results later.

Heads Up, There Will be Obstacles

No matter how good a plan is, you will not be able to avoid obstacles. Some of the challenges you will face will have to do with your environment, like your work or home environment. Other challenges might be related to your mental environment, like stress eating, fears, and limiting beliefs. As your coach, I will work with you to devise practical solutions to overcome any obstacle in our way of implementing the action plan and achieving your fitness goal. The one thing you need to know about obstacles is that they only get in your way if you let them. If there is a will, there is a way around any obstacle.

About My App

You can access my app during the 6 months of the coaching program. This app provides additional support between coaching sessions.

There are 4 main benefits of having This app:

  • Gives you access to me between sessions for any questions or help you might need in implementing our action plan before our next coaching session.
  • It helps keep track of your progress on whichever habit you are working on, and I can also see your progress on my end.
  • It allows me to upload any exercises I want you to do, so you will have video demonstrations of any activities you are supposed to be doing.
  • I believe that the more reasons you have to develop a habit, the more motivated you will be to develop that habit. That is why with every healthy habit I will be helping you do develop, I will be uploading a special report about that habit and all its’ benefits to the app so you can read them.
